I found myself very frustrated at times. But I gave myself a brake and got the job done. This class taught me how to manage my time and stay committed. This was a touch up of my computer skills for my software and hardware classes I’m going to take. This class turned out to be so much more then click and read.  Mr. Wu is so detail oriented and overwhelming with work. I think this class was the best stepping stone into my degree. He forces you to get the work done or accepted failure and sad to see only 9 on my last day. I think if I wasn’t so against giving my money away I would have dropped but the final product was so full filling. I hope you all got the same from this. To hear that 2 computer new comers passed the class shows the hard work they put in and I hope they got the same gratification.  

Paid week off

I took a week vacation. I have cleaned the pool to near perfect chemical levels, went to school (2^nd to last day), and completed last minute school work. I think I’m going to take my kids to do something really fun tomorrow. The pool is all the time. The park is not to the level of fun I’m looking for. Maybe the water park in the Recreation Center. It has a slide. It can’t be too much fun though or my wife will be mad, she has to work lol. I need suggestions please. My boy is 3 and daughter is 6. That means little kid stuff.  

4th to last day

Nice to finish up capstones 2 for word, powerpoint, and excel. Just need to finish up assignment 6. Mr. Wu is so particular I need to comb it with a fine tooth comb. Hope for a 100% but can't always be perfect. Have to make a second draft on my home page and make a real resume for this new job opening I found. See you all Thursday!

Security

Who would think you would have so much trouble telling a drunk lady you can't seat on the floor in the parking lot. Then she starts stalking me and my partner. Lucky we pawned her off on the Liquor store guy. He's going to be mad at us but we told him we had an emergency. A while later she found us in the lobby. I think I should just stay in the office for the night.

Work

Work seems to be slow right now. Hope t stays that way. I've only done 2 calls in 2hrs. That rockstar did nothing for me. Does anyone know of a stronger energy drink.

Life

I like coming to school to break up the monotony with work. My Manager quit a month ago and the new Manager quit before he started. We are also down an employee and they hand out PTO to other. By the way are still holding my PTO. Work is really upsetting but I work with a good crew or else would have another job by now. I really hope these people don't think they are the best I can do. I'm just trying to get some certes under my belt and will find other paychecks. Then finish my degree and make real money. Life!!! I think my wife and kids are the only thing keeping me stable.

Power Point

Just finishing the touch ups on my powerpoint. The only thing I'm caught up on is the speech. Too much to say in too little time. I feel a little rushed and feel really good about the presentation. I hope my slideshow stands up for my speaking. Well back to my kids see you all in class.

Airport

Man, spirit airlines is horrible. We had so many check-ins because they say the weather is bad. I wonder why they are the only airline that says that. I so glade most of them wren't mad at US! I have never seen a line all the way across the lobby at 2am before. Now a work safety meeting. Seriously how many times do I need to learn PPE or Blood Borne Pathogens. Please HR lady sleep in!

E.D.C.

These edc people sure cause a lot of trouble. I have never seen so many ambulances and I always work New Years. I have a feeling they are going to mess up my night.

Test 3

Felt really good about test 3. We reviewed test 2 and that bonus question got me a 100% thank you. I at work right now doing my next sams assignment. I think the sams assignments were created to frustrate me to no end, I swear I do every thing it says and still wrong. Well I just got a call and have to work.

Class Guide

I was looking at the class guide and saw out of 5 tests total we are about to 3 of the tests in the first 5 days. I can't wait to get to just class work again. I feel good about the 2nd test we just took. Now back to reviewing for the 3rd test. I watched the info youtube video and 97% of emails are spam ..........................mind blown!

Quiz 1

That first quiz was not as bad as I was thinking but that running programs question sure had me stumped. Can't wait to find out what it was. Did anyone over look the save/save as question like I did the first time?

2nd DAY

Caught up on my work from the first day and started next weeks work. Nice to have a change of pace doing class work instead of starting up all my programs. Learning some real detailed words for some easy tasks. I can't imagine how difficult it would be for a first time learner. Now I already have a quiz on my 3rd day...... that was fast.

First Day

The first day was exciting. It was such a fast paste first day. I should of expected it from a summer school class. Ready for another day today. Can't believe that in 8 weeks I will have already learned all the basics of computer over again. High School was soooooo slow paced.
